moderation and appeals

Moderation & Appeals

jmpseat uses reporting and operator-scoped moderation review to protect privacy, safety, and community utility during private beta.

Private beta draft. Last updated: June 14, 2026.

This page is practical private-beta copy for jmpseat. It is not legal advice, not final legal terms, and still needs founder/legal review before broad launch.

Report handling

DFW Channel posts can be reported for review. Report details should stay focused and should not add extra private information.

Reporter identity is not public, and public report counts are not shown.

Moderation actions

Authorized operators may review reported content and use narrow hide/remove actions when needed.

Moderation may be used for privacy, safety, harassment, spam, doxxing, exact crew hotel exposure, live operations-sensitive content, confidential company information, or security-sensitive content.

Boundaries

  • No AI final moderation decisions.
  • No final bans without human/admin review.
  • No public moderation feed.
  • No public reporter identity.
  • No account-ban action in the current T26E-A moderation surface.

Appeals

Appeals are a manual process during private beta. Use support@jmpseat.com once configured with the subject prefix [Moderation Appeal].

There is no in-app appeal backend or automatic appeal workflow in the current product.

Appeals are reviewed by a human/admin operator where appropriate. They are not guaranteed, instant, or automatically granted.

Appeals should not restore content that exposes passengers, exact crew hotels, security procedures, live operations-sensitive information, doxxing, threats, or confidential company information.
